From Fig. I and III we would usually say the equator revolves a distance of 1670 km per hour in front of the Sun but in reality the needle in fig. III moves a distance from X to Y or rather in reality a distance of 5mm (per 5mm). From fig. II and III we would say the Automobile has a speed of 60 kms per hour but the truth is it has traveled 60 kms per 5mm.

 

As such it is a distance to distance relation relationship and there is no such thing as time.
